As I dive further into my research for my capstone I am getting a little bit nervous about how I will reach my target audience. I want the book I am writing to be geared to children between the ages of 5 to 11. My latest idea to reach this age range is start a Facebook campaign that is marketing to parents. I want to link this campaign to the webpage I am creating for the book. This page will act as both a promotional page for the book and as way to digitally distribute the book.
My biggest priority right now is getting a first draft of the book finished so that I can be thinking about illustrations. I am in kind of a holding pattern with the digital aspect of my project until I can finish the hard copy of story. I hope to have my first draft finished by the end of this week, and a final draft by the end of this month.
